The SFYC Auxiliary is a multi-talented group of women who play a vital role in the SFYC community and have done so for more than fifty-seven years. Today the Auxiliary provides hands-on support for almost every facet of Club life; providing financial support for the Yacht Club’s successful Youth Sailing Programs and organizing social functions for Club Members, and providing fellowship for fellow Auxiliary members.
The organization’s main source of revenue is the dues it receives voluntarily from each Auxiliary member. Yearly dues started at $7.50 in 1981 and have been set at $25 per year for the last several years. Additionally, at least one major fundraiser is scheduled for each year. The group also earns money for it’s many projects with the popular Dreamboat Series, the competitive Dominos Tournament, the Spring/Fall Fashion Show, and an Opening Day Raffle. Auxiliary donations and projects have included the following:

• The production of fourteen fabulous parties and other social events for the enjoyment of members and their families.
• Donations totaling $25,000 to the SFYC Sailing Center construction project;
• A $5,000 donation to the Youth Sailing program for the purchase of two new Avon’s.
• A $6,000 donation to the Youth Sailing Race Team
