Redwood and Branson High School Sailing Teams try-outs (if needed):
•    September 8-9
•    28 sailors max.  (Approximately 8 Branson and 20 Redwood.)
•    Cuts based on performance over the 2 days as well as team make-up. 
•    Sailors not making the teams may attend open FJ sailing on Tuesdays.

Regatta teams assigned in the following way:
•    Previous results
•    Current performance
•    Regatta venue and expected conditions
•    Teams assigned by Head Coach using previously known availability and the three criteria above.  Heavy/light crews will be used to maximize regatta performance.
•    Teams will be posted on the website at least 17 days prior to each regatta.

Expectations for coaches:
•    Be on time and ready to coach
•    Daily practice plan
•    Regatta teams posted 17 days prior to each regatta
•    Treat the sailors with respect
•    Motivate sailors, while recognizing differences in experience and skill
•    Daily equipment assignments
•    No swearing or inappropriate behavior
•    No drugs or alcohol

Expectations for sailors:
•    Proper sailing gear (lifejacket, boots, spray-gear, wetsuit or drysuit)
•    Show up at practice with a desire to improve
•    Rig efficiently and proceed to practice area on time
•    Practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
•    Adherence to the “PRO (Personal Responsibility and Organization) List”    Practice absences listed at least one week prior
        Non-PCISA event absences listed 17 days prior
•    Availability listed for all PCISA regattas by September 20th
•    Treat the coaches and other sailors with respect on and off the water
•    Respect regatta team assignments
•    Accept daily assignment of equipment and report broken or worn parts
•    Practice until season ends (April 24th if not qualified, May 22nd if qualified)
•    No swearing or inappropriate behavior
•    No drugs or alcohol

All sailors and coaches must sign this document and, in doing so, promise to uphold and understand all bullet points above.
